Q: How do you measure your garments?
Most of the pieces have been measured individually due to each design being different and the change of clothing sizes over time, so sizes are usually disregarded and concentrate instead on measurments. All garments are measured along the same guidelines as shown on the right. Some pieces also have estimated current UK sizes according to their measurements.

Q: How are the garments treated before they are sold?
All of our garments have been restored where necessary to give you the garment at its best quality. All clothes have been pressed or steamed and any damage has been repaired. All the clothing that have required washing or stain removal have also been attended too. All garments have also been aired to remove any odours.
Q: How do you grade the quality of your items?
Vintage Nancy only selects wearable items of a good quality. The majority of the items range from
mint to very good condition, we try to describe the individual items quality as most of them have
been previously worn, as would be expected, and could possibly have some imperfections. Small
blemishes and flaws can be expected in Vintage clothing and most of time this adds to the character
and authenticity.
MINT - Item has either never been worn or rarely used, with no visible flaws.
EXCELLENT - Items has been barely used with no visible flaws.
VERY GOOD - Items which have been worn but are still in very good condition. May have some
flaws and repairs, which are explained in the description. The repairs or not generally noticeable.
GOOD - Items which have been worn or used but are still in good shape. Has small flaws or repairs,
which have been explained. Close up there are visible signs of wear and tear, but these don't really
affect the appearance of the items when worn.
FAIR - Items with numerous visible flaws or repairs that have been repaired so that the garment is
wearable by the customer, but will have received a lot of attention.
